SDS is excited to to have brought performance teams back! Teams are currently preparing for upcoming performances at the Tuacahn Saturday Market, Broadway Magic, SDS Spring Recital, Step Up Competition, and more!

There are 6 performance teams:

Mini Dance Team (ages 8-10)

Jr. Dance Team (ages 10-12)

Sr. Dance Company (ages 13-18)

Tap Dance Team (ages 14+)

Jr Ballroom Team (ages 10-13)

Sr Ballroom Team (ages 14-18)

Students are placed in specified teams by age, technique and years of experience.

Registration and Auditions for performance teams for the 2026-2027 year will be held on Friday, April 24th. Times are:

2:00-3:00pm Tap Team

2:30-4:00pm Sr Team

3:15-4:45pm Mini Team

4:00-5:30pm Jr Team

 

Auditions are MANDATORY to be on a team. If your student cannot make it, please reach out to us to figure out another audition time. There is a $20 audition fee per dancer. You can register your dancer for auditions by clicking the REGISTER HERE button on the home page.

We are excited to be adding Ballroom Teams this coming year!! Auditions for these 2 teams will be on Saturday, April 25th. Times are:

2:00-3:30pm Jr Ballroom Team 

3:30-5:00pm Sr Ballroom Team

Teams get the opportunity to do extra performances and a competition in the spring! There are extra rehearsals, a photoshoot, team outfits, and more! Join SDS dance teams for some amazing opportunities!
